Um...I think that it actually might be some sort of coding error. While I know everyone loves the AME, I sort of doubt that there's ALWAYS 7-12 guests on these forums (as has been the case every time I drop by). Is there any way to check this?

Probably is being counted twice.
And bot crawlers like Google get counted as guests... Google, Yahoo, Microsloth... a few others.
Rubbish - we're super popular!
Doubtless there are several bots keeping tabs on us, but at the same time, we have had some great interviews lately...
A good part of it are bots. Googlebot most of the times. From the admin panel you should be able to see the guest IPs and get a Whois with the identity of the bot. Another good clue is to watch for many different open connections from the same IP. Usually that is a bot scanning the whole forums

ps...it's ok to go ahead and hate me for spaming, I couldn't resist. :)
I've enjoyed lurking the last couple of weeks ;) Of course I had to register again because the Password for my QSW account does not work, and the mail that the system sends out to reset it is sending it to my old Vaultnetwork.com mail....which I have no access to any more :P
Don't suppose a moderator could change the QSW account mail to NWVaultQSW@aol.com?
*puts on her best dragon grin* ;D

QSW! Welcome back! It's really nice to see you again! How are you in these days?
I try to send a mail to you about the Overlooked module report before I realize you are no longer a part of site management.... (=_= );
Hey Starlight :)
I'm doing well, thankee! If you sent the mail to my qsw@vaultnetwork mail account, then it would have been forwarded to Maximus, so no worries ;)
I'm not working on the Vault any more, RL issues meant I had to stand down from Vault management and also as admin on the Reviewers Guild (although I remain a reviewer) I am however slowly trying to catch up with my NWN related reading/gossip, although I'm not really active as a member just yet.
Good to see you all here! I've fixed my QSW account by the way, Maximus kindly sent me the new password mail, so 've reset my e-mail on the account as well ;) (oh, and deleted the other Queensilverwing account I had to open up)

Silly RL issues. I try to ignore mine whenever possible. (at least until my wife tells me that I'm not allowed to anymore) ::)
I tried listening to my wife once. It's kind of hard to understand her when she sounds like Charlie Brown's teacher. ;D
*loud slap heard*
"Oh hi honey, I didn't see you behind me."
:D

Funny, that's what my teenager hears when my wife and I talk to her.
My wife is simply the best speaker and a wonderful listener. (WOS) heh heh

I was thinking Wrath of the Obviously Sedated. Everyone, look out! Run! They're crawling towards us at 1 kph! ;)

Tybae, you traitor, your using the metric system. How dare you! Go out and buy a chevy right now!
Yeah, I'm very unamerican sometimes. Besides the metric system is easier to understand. All based on multiples of 10. None of that 12 inches = 1 foot, 3 feet = 1 yeard, 100 yards x 50 yards = 1 acre, 5280 feet = 1 mile.....too confusing. Not only that, but I drink imported beer, I buy foreign cars, I avoid hamburgers and Football = Soccer! HA! So there! :P

Oh. My. God. You did not. . . :'(
First of all, you do not have to be able to do all that silly math stuff to understand the Standard system all you need to understand is that it's called "Standard" and that should be enough for you and everyone else. Metric sounds, like, French or something. When it comes to soccer, you go right ahead and enjoy your 1-0 score while eating a silly little croissant. And remember how much you like all of that foreign stuff the next time you're talking to tech support from India! :P
:D
;D That was fun. I thought that last line was really clever of me. Anyway, I've come to the conclusion that I have a really bad habit of going waaayyy off topic every time I have the opportunity to say something funny. I'm going to have to stop that somehow.
EDIT: I did want to let everyone know that everything I said was only an attempt at humor, just in case.
I take I'm the only one willing to place a reasonably metric bet on Sirchet's wife being a Warrior of Scandinavia?
*Goes back into lurk mode*
Ha ha! You guys are tooooooooo funny ::)
WOS= wife over shoulder, which explains why I posted on how great she is. ;)
Are there short dark haired women in Scandinavia, sixesthrice?
btw...She did just agree to me upgrading my 14 month old custom, built for me gaming pc, with a new, better, beefier, custom made for me, gaming pc, along with a 24 inch wide screen LCD monitor. I'm using it right now answering this post. ;D ;D
So...I guess she is pretty great, even when she's not lurking over my shoulder. ;)

ONCE. ;D
:) :) :)

Aha! I'll have to remember that one. :D

"I don't like you anymore!" He exclaims in a fit of envy. :P
sigh. . . not really, but I am jealous.
I suppose it wouldn't have been good for WOS to have meant "Waste of Space" when talking about one's wife. ;D
Like I pointed out earlier, in my eyes she can do no wrong right now........next I'm pushing the bass boat issue. heh heh (gonna get me one some day)
QuoteAre there short dark haired women in Scandinavia, sixesthrice?
Presumably. They might be immigrants. Although the blonde plaits w/ bronze helm look is much more traditional. Don't think height matters much with Valkyrie types, they're on horseback all the time so maybe the short ones even have an advantage.
I assumed (wrongly of course) that your wife may be such a person based on the fact that I have heard a great many wives being called 'fearsome warriors' (or words to that effect) behind their back by their husbands. No offense, ladies, my own views regarding your barbarian class are purely respect for the great warriors ;D
Hmmm...she does like to ride horses. Maybe she's a Valkyrie and I didn't know...deffinately a warrior cast. Ouch! <she rolls a 20 *critical hit* on unarmed strike> heh heh

Another problem with using the metric system is that you can never join the mile high club.
