I want to give NWN2 another try. Do you have any suggestion to improve gaming? e.g. UI, tools, game settings, etc.
Also, do you have any suggestion about modules? Subtley of Thay looks promising...
Subtlelty is pretty good. I liked also Dark Avenger and Harp & Chrysanthemum.
Storm of Zehir.. really, it will change your nwn2 concept in seconds.
Everybody liked "Bishop's Romance" by Merilinda (addon to the OC that plays a romance with the ranger Bishop). I'm not fan of romance but i remembered you are SL.
Patch to 1.13 if you have nwn2+motb, not to 1.21 (there's a damn bug that breaks many modules)
I would recommend Pool of Radiance Remastered for a complete and fulfilling adventure, that does a good job of showing off what a 1.13 patched game can offer.

Oh...there are bugs in patch 1.21?
I have just installed patch 1.13 with NWN2+MotB, then SoZ and patched it to 1.21. Is it fine? Or do I need to reverse the patch?
1.21 is fine, it's just that many of the mods released have not been updated to 1.21 yet.
There are a few that have updated and I believe most of the others will follow.
Myself, I'm having a ball with SoZ. I'm on my third run through, this time with an all dwarven party.
1.21 has a big damn bug, basically, Action function scripts don't work in the OnEnter of a trigger when is fired at the same time of an area loading.
Have you understand? :D
Basically, all triggers that fire conversation in the beggining of an area don't work when they did prior to 1.21. Many modules use triggers to fire conversations (and inside this convos, set their module variables and quests), so you can find that a module has been broken completely because of this. It can be fixed using OnClient enter instead of ussing triggers but it affected maaany people... (Miller or me as example..).
OEi asked me about it and they'd like to fix it in this month patch
Yes Qkrch, I read that also and am hoping that hot fix is released soon.
Changing to OnClient enter is what I meant about updating to SoZ, I should have been a little more technical. ;D
Oh...then I will wait for further patch, then.
Also, do you think the UI is somewhat too small? e.g. the inventory window is much more smaller than NWN1.
I never liked the nwn2 inventory vs the nwn1 inventory.
But, the big difference is that you can change that Ui window, and people released packs for it.
Look this example from my friend Ankhalas

Thanks Qk, I have watched the video and it looks interesting. I'm still looking for one which looks beautiful and large. What about Charlie's UI?
He, Charlie was the big loser on past nwn2 awards (claiming again for more CC awards). Good thing about her Ui is that have options to choose from (if you want larger or smaller windows, etc), everything can be setup on the main options menu.
But for the moment, you're not gonna rescue those nwn1 6 slot armor.

Does anyone know what the current status is of patching NWN2? I'd like to patch up to the current one if the recent issues have been resolved. :)
Currently 1.21
Beta 1.22 already released, but the OnEnter issue has not been resolved completely as testers say.
Beta 1.22 is very problematic at best. The OLM has quite a few issues still, even causing ctd for a few of the testers.
Ooops...I will wait until the proper fix released before I want to tried any modules.
