I'll drink to the less pain.  *thoughtful look* Bet if I drank more, I'd probably have less pain ALL of the time.

But seriouslly . . . Happy New Years to all.  Stay safe.

*throws a dozen biscuits Fluffy's way*

That's Chinese Lunar New Year which is at the end of January this year. This is the generic one.  ;)

P.S. I'm now enjoying my holiday in Taiwan. They have a fantastic count-down activities! How is yours?

There aren't many countdowns here on the west coast of the US.  San Francisco is probably packed, but the largest celebration in our time zone is Las Vegas.

The big one in the states is Times Square in New York City.

Dallas had a fairly decent-sized event according to what I heard.  I, on the other hand, was tucked into my bed, surrounded by dogs, so I can't report on the turnout on a first-hand basis.   :P

Yeah sorry, I been a bit of a slack....err, sleepy dragon for a while now. Wrymling was delivered 8th Dec, a boy who is now a month old and a very easy going laddie (just like his dad!)

I'll be about for this new award cycle, although I've only put my name down for 4 categories (might manage more, but don't want to make promises I can't keep!)

Hope you all had a great holiday season and are all now healthy and planning on having a smashing 2009!
