QK, is there an official explanation for this?

If you check the Vault's forums, there really isn't one, at least last time I checked there wasn't one.

I really think it's a disservice to the community not to recognize the international module.  There are international players, modules are created in other languages besides English, so they should be recognized.  I would guess it would be a language barrier of the vault staff.  I'm not sure that they have every language that NWN is covered in on their staff.

I contacted BTP about the int. modueles:
QuoteI saw it. I've had some computer issues this week but for the most part agree with him, and you. I'll take a look. Thanks

Well since the MoTY is voted on by the community, the language of the Vault staff (that being BTP & Maximus as the overall boss) does not bear any relevance. They compile (via scripts) a list of all the eligible mods using XX criteria on votes/scores and a list shows up. I'm guessing that the script simply does not include INT mods section when it compiles.

I think there about 3? INT modules in NWN2 which qualify.  Hopefully BTP will add them to the list, like I said, it is the community who votes, not the Vault staff. But you can be sure there will be some who complain about 'foreign'  modules in the comp...but then there is always someone who complains about something; so that is not any great news. There should be INT modules in the MoTY and I'm glad BTP agrees with that sentiment :)

Kind of like us. We've wanted to do an international module award since the AME was founded, but we've never had enough members with the necessary language skills to make it workable. So if anyone would like to volunteer to help us try to recognize the international community in this way, then please feel free to contact me about it. :)
