This pretty much describes every job I have ever done in my line of work.

Guess where the majority of my clients fit?
"In their dreams?" ;D
Hah! you can't rush perfection, or a perfectionist.
Our team is now supporting a group of developers and it seems they only go for "fast" only ::)

Lawyers are a different breed, that's for certain!
Of course, not sure what that says about me since I've worked for them for 35 years or so. *slightly manic look in her eyes*

Nah, it's self punishment because if you're going to go through that, you're going to do it to yourself. Oprah calls that empowerment. ;)
Whew! What a relief to know that, Ty!
It's actually based on a real model that gets used a lot in the computer industry (on budget, on spec, on time - but you can't get all 3). Too true though. I was recently developing a similar only slightly tongue-in-cheek model for my reports to get them to understand the choices they make for their career paths in the company I work for: fun, seniority, longterm career - but you can't have all 3. For some reason everyone always sacrifices fun.
As a good friend said to me recently, .....
Very few people die saying "I wish I had spent more time at the office!". 8)

Oh, dear heavens, get me out of "yolk-covered lizard" stage soon! :P
*heats up skillet looking at the yolk covered lizard drooling*
BWAAAACKKKK! *runs back and starts sticking broken shell pieces to yolk-y self, trying to reinvent a safe place to hide from mean, nasty sirchets*
;D Hmmm, a little milk, a little pepper. . . gently scramble. . . *turns page* hunh? what? where'd that little thing go, was right here. . .
Mwahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
