News: Public IRC chat with the NWN nominees: 12th July

AME will be conducting another IRC chat, on the 12th of July. You'll be able to ask your questions of AME, and we will also have some of the finalist authors of the 2007 NWN awards present, so you can also bug them!

Time: 4pm GMT, 12 noon EST
Date: Saturday 12th July
The channel name will be AME (hosted on the live.neverwinterconnections.com server)

use any IRC Client, join the server live.neverwinterconnections.com

Steps to get into the IRC channel:
1) Download mIRC (or HydraIRC which I use)
2) Go to options, then connect, then server
3) click add, fill in Description and Group as AME, and server as live.neverwinterconnections.com
4) Log onto server, then join channel ame

To log in from the general window, type /j ame

OR

Use the PRC IRC Client.

OR

goto www.neverwinterconnections.com and use their free java client.

Actually it will be at 17:00 GMT, 12 noon your time.  I forgot the abbreviation for GMT with daylight savings added.  I did factor that in already and double checked the clock, so the previously listed times are correct.  Sorry if that caused any confusion.

GMT doesn't have daylight savings - it's a standard timezone... so the UK is currently on GMT+1 for example.

As I type this, it's 7:30 am my time.  Pacific Daylight time.  The chat starts in an hour and a half.  This timezone thing is getting confusing.
