The Academy for Modding Excellence is frantically trawling through the 2007 submissions looking for worthy works for the nominations phase of the 2007 Golden Dragon Awards. This year, for the first time, there will be awards for NWN2 as well as NWN. Any work that was submitted to the Vault in 2007 (or works that were submitted earlier but remained in beta until that time) are eligible for the awards. In addition, for NWN2 only, in order to catch all works submitted to date, we are also considering any work submitted from the game's launch in 2006.

What do I need to do to be considered?

Nothing, unless your work is in beta. If so, in order to be considered, you should release the final version within January. It is worth notifying AME if you do so, so that they are aware you are eligible.

What if I don't consider my work ready/completed?
In this case you should notify AME that your work is not complete and you would like it not to be considered for the current cycle. You must do this by the end of January. In some cases, if it is clear that your work has been considered final by the public for some time, you will not be able to withdraw.

Just out of curiosity, when do you expect to present a list of the nominees?

Oooh - that looks like a rephrase of Hugie's attempt to get the timetable out of me.... we should be publishing it soon, once we have confirmed we have set feasible workflows.

Sorry.  I know there is a lot to do with these things.  I'll behave now.

It's good to know there is anticipation though, right.  .  .?

No worries.  I believe our goal is to leave you hanging until the last possible second.  ;)  What's life without suspense.  Maybe we should have a slogan.  "AME.  We put the patience back in impatience."   ;D
