Conversions and Remakes

How do you feel about conversions or remakes, for example of previously developed games or PnP modules?

I actively look for and/or like to play conversions and/or remakes.
I don't have a preference one way or the other.
I usually prefer to look for and play new or original works.
Other (please feel free to explain in the comments).

Well, I'm seeing that I really needed to be more careful about the exact wording of my original question! I really intended for someone with your focus to be able to answer with the first option on the poll, so I hope you'll consider changing your vote. I'm editing the wording of the first choice slightly to try to take into account the ambiguity you described.

Excellent.. I removed other and revoted.. Actually.. I figured that's what you meant.. but I learned at some point along the way to squeak just a bit so that if others were confused but didn't wanna speak up..well.. I don't mind lookin' like a fool.. ;)  Thanks for clearifyin' things... I'm a pedantic SOB   ;D

 8)  happens all the time... I'd never have learned to surf if I cared what I looked like from the shore.   ;)    ... there's wisdom in there somewhere
