Just in time for the weekend, we have another eclectic collection of questions and answers from the AME panel, in the third in our series; a look under the hood. Why not send us your questions too, so we can put the AME panel to the test!

In other news, we are pleased to welcome QSW back to the team, after a short hiatus.

Our very own Qk got something of a scoop, with the exclusive news on the NWN2 expansion pack; Storm of Zehir. Despite the rather odd name, this expansion looks like it has some pretty interesting innovations.

We continue our peak inside the Academy for Modding Excellence with a few more questions to some of the panel members, in AME: A look under the hood, part II. If you’ve got nothing better to do while waiting for the imminent release of the NWN2 award winners, this is as good a way to pass the time as any! 😉

Liso66, from the NWN Podcast crew went over to Los Angeles for a special press event surrounding Mysteries of Westgate. She interviewed Alan Miranda, CEO of Ossian Studios, and Russ (aka Tiberius) while she was there. She managed a few hours of playing MoW and tells us how she did. Click here to check it out!

Yes, that’s right, the Academy for Modding Excellence will soon be announcing more finalists for the 2007 Golden Dragon Awards… for Neverwinter Nights 1. Keep an eye out here – we expect the finalists to be announced by the end of the month.

In addition, the Best Sound & Music category includes both NWN and NWN2 entries, so there’s something also for the NWN2 folks to look forward to.

Last week’s open IRC chat with some of the Golden Dragon nominees for NWN2 was very successful (nearly 40 people made it – though a few got a bit mixed up with times!). You can find the edited log here.
